On November 18, 2024, the Lottery League hosted a special roundtable discussion at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s Foster Theater focused on addiction recovery and mental health awareness within the music, arts, and service industries.
The conversation brought together mental health professionals, peer support advocates, and members of the creative community to openly discuss the challenges that musicians, artists, and service industry workers often face — including burnout, substance use, and the pressures that come with creative and nightlife environments.
Hosted by Lottery League co-founder Michael James, the panel featured:
Aliha Lambert & Ruth Earley – Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors, IFS and somatic mental health therapists, and founders of Paralleled Bloom Counseling
Bradley Robinson, MSSA, LSW – Psychotherapist
Tony Kost – Peer support specialist and co-chair of Cleveland’s chapter of Ben’s Friends, a national support network for the hospitality industry
This event was part of the 2024 Lottery League season, continuing our commitment to supporting the broader music community not only through creative collaboration, but also through conversations that strengthen the health and sustainability of the scene.
We are grateful to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and all of the panelists who contributed their time, insight, and openness to this important discussion.
